I've really liked this case so far but haven't had it in so long I'm not sure if it's durable so keep that in mind. I washed the duvet cover when it arrived and had no problems with it. The fabric is soft, warm, like a microfiber fabric. It has drawstrings at the inside corners and a zip closure. The zipper can get snagged, so take your time unzipping it, but it makes zipping up a lot easier than the typical button-down style. I have an alternate comforter on the bed and I fluffed it up heavily before putting it in. During this winter of cold weather we noticed that some nights were a little cooler than we wanted so I hoped this new duvet cover and loosening of the filling would solve the problem and it did. The duvet cover adds a layer of warmth to the comforter and overall we are very happy with its softness and comfort while sleeping. If you're considering either of these cases I'd say it's a good buy for the price, but don't use them too often. I will give it some time and use it and see how it holds up over the next few months but I am happy with it and really think it has made the bed more comfortable overall and also has a nice print that suits our room well .
