Car overheats a week after replacement

I spent several hours replacing the water pump on my CRV but after a week it started overheating. In fact, the drain hole was leaking (meaning the water pump seals had failed). Everything seemed to fit, but I can only assume that the quality is lousy and my car is now unmanageable. I don't recommend this kit at all, just pay the extra money for a quality kit so you don't waste man hours. I'm incredibly disappointed.
