So when I bought this cable I expected it to be almost perfectly compatible with all my devices. I was very wrong, instead when I plug it in it shows charging for a second and then suddenly stops. But I didn't just buy it to charge my phone or transfer data, I use it to charge power banks and yet as a 100w cable it does charge certain devices from time to time but the rest don't see it that way off as if they were charging it. Beware because I bought this thinking I didn't need to replace it as this Gen 2 should be good. Well it's not that good, I'll probably stick with the first gen so there aren't any compatibility issues. I hope Anker stands by their "worry-free guarantee" because I don't feel like sending it in and waiting another week to get a new one.
