Real! for parts

As I watched the temperature rise to 190 degrees, then quickly to 200 degrees, and I stopped it just before 210 degrees. I expect a new thermostat from a reputable manufacturer to perform as advertised. I installed an ACDelco thermostat and it opens exactly 195 degrees! The above incident is the second time I have had the same result with a different make but on a different truck. I admit that sometimes I go astray, but usually I get a piece of ACDelco to complete the job.
