***Update after 18 months of use*** Basically all the brass parts have fallen apart after about 18 months of regular use. I started using it by simply carrying it by the handle on top because the brass on the strap broke in two. Eventually, this resulted in the brass clasp locking the lid breaking. I withdraw my recommendation. ***Original Post*** Overall I am very happy with this portfolio at this price point. The leather is very nice (looks great, feels great and smells great) and while it's thin, it fits my computer and those important documents I need to take home at night to go through. This prompted me to trim down things I had in my big computer bag that I really don't need that often (similar to going to a money clip purse/card rather than a big ol' wallet). The only two disadvantages and reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars: (1) The very thin shoulder strap gives me the feeling of carrying a women's bag. I'm 6ft 200lbs so the 1.8cm strap seems weird. A nice 3-4cm wide strap would be much better. (2) The slogan "Every bag has a story" is embossed on the leather on the shoulder strap and on the inside of the bag flap (as you can see when you open it). ). I agree that probably every bag has a story, but I don't want to share that belief with everyone who looks at my bag. That's pretty stupid.
