Too firm for sensitive skin but cleans well.
As I have sensitive and damaged skin due to psoriasis I personally found it too harsh on my hands/nails. I suspect the bristles will also be too intense for the skin of young children and the elderly. However these are good quality brushes and I have used them for cleaning and for that they are really durable. I put one in my cleaning cart, one in my dish basket, and one in my craft drawer. The handles have a hole for hanging on hooks for organization.
