This fan is very well made. The engine and its parts are designed for harsh operating conditions. I give it 4 stars but be careful with the specs described. None of the measurements are correct. The height is not 11.9" but 16". The mounting plate is not designed for a standard US ceiling outlet. It does not fit the 4.25 inch ceiling junction box. The disk is 6-7 inches in diameter. You will need to install over the existing junction box, screwing on the studs and drilling anchor holes for the remaining anchor points around the existing holes. After installation everything is great. Maximum fan speed pushes away a ton of wind. Dimmer and color temperature work great. The fan blades are made of natural wood and feel much nicer than any laminate. I recommend if the specs and the mounting plate are not an issue.
