Review on Connectors Diameter Transparent Passthrough Ethernet by Aaron Parish

I agree with other reviews that this product is a lot less reliable than other Cat6 RJ-45 connectors I've tried. I also had an issue with wire #1 not being cut during the crimping process, but that wasn't even a real problem as you can easily twist it during the crimping process. got to. The real problem for me was my inability to get a good test (usually wire #3 or #5 for me) which caused me to keep trying, starting over and wasting a lot of time. I would also comment on the "collars" that come with this guy. I haven't used these before. I tried using a pair with and without a collar, but that didn't solve my problems described above. The collars help with insertion, but I don't see the need for a collar once the crimping has taken place. In the photo above, the left wire has a collar while the right wire does not. I would definitely recommend a different brand.
