I have previously had 2 iPads that I have had Belkin Ultimate keyboards for. I loved them and wanted to buy one for this latest iPad. Unfortunately they are not (currently) in production. I bought this keyboard because it closely mimics an OEM keyboard. It's solidly built and the hinge mechanism works well. It pairs seamlessly and consistently with the iPad. But the keys are stiffer than the Ultimate, require more force to click, and are slower to type on. And the keyboard is very heavy - about 6-8 ounces heavier than the Ultimate. That is the main reason for 3 stars. I carry my iPad with me quite often and there is no doubt that the extra weight will eventually lead to a fall.
