. Finely woven wool makes everything much, much lighter than the Scottish wool cape I have. The pattern turned out to be even more complex than I had imagined. The colors are the same as in the picture when the handkerchief is held in bright sunlight, but the tit looks quite dark in dim indoor light. The back of the scarf has a lot of black in contrast to the front pieces you see in the photo. At first I was disappointed with the overall darkness of the scarf, but little by little I started to see it becoming more and more beautiful. I think it will be a smart outerwear piece when the weather finally gets cooler.
