My purchase is for the "Global" release. When I clicked on the product, I was taken to the market page for the CN version, even though I had previously selected and disclosed that it was Global and not CN. I was afraid it would only arrive in the Chinese region, but it turned out to be the EAC version. Advantages that vary: Nice to look at and rather quiet (when set to automatic) until it's really dirty. In spite of its restricted functionality, I was able to hook up to Alice (UDYA and use its pollution, temperature, and humidity sensors (and their minute-by-minute ates) to run scripts written in UDYA. Having drawbacks of its own. It's not a negative, per se; I just wasn't prepared for how much bigger it actually was than what I had envisioned, even after consulting the dimensions provided.
