Review on ☕ Clear Glass Coffee Server by Hario by Genene Locson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lovely single service

Let's say you only need this small 12 ounce jug because you want to serve one or maybe two people a cup of coffee in style. But you may have the overwhelming feeling that this is somewhat impractical and/or frivolous. After all, everyone on the cabin farm carries their own trusty mega-sized Dilbert-style coffee mug. This waiter wouldn't even fill one of those cups. that your prickly boss laughed at. And you will use this little server for company or when you and your mate want to have a cup of coffee together. Of course, if you want to serve two people from the same vessel, you'll need to give them 8-ounce cups or less so you can fill them more than half full. And if you're trying to replicate the diner experience by giving each of your guests their own server, why buy one when you can use the original from the restaurant store? In fact why? Because a real (vintage) restaurant standalone server is a cheaper affair that doesn't even run spill-free. While this server is made from heat-resistant glass, with a glass lid that fits snugly (but still allows for a pour) thanks to a removable silicone gasket, and a perfect no-drip pour spout that sets the gold standard for no-drip pourers. And all of this is easy to wash by hand or in the dishwasher. And if you want to save your coffee for later, just cover and chill. But basically when you ask that special someone if they would like coffee and you brew their own cup and topping. and put this little gem of a server in front of them, you can be sure they will feel really special. Even if it's just you, take some well-deserved time for yourself. Conclusion: This server is a class. This coffee must be good.
