This ATV has 3 speeds (called speeds) that control how the drone responds to stick movements. The lowest setting is good for beginners, while medium and high are suitable for more experienced pilots. At high speed, it's fairly quick for a home, but manageable. It comes with 3 batteries giving you a total flight time of around 15 minutes depending on how aggressively you fly. ATVs and helicopters require a lot of power to stay airborne, so flight times are not very long, typically 3-5 minutes per battery. It has some advanced features like Auto Flip, Headless Mode and Return Home. Auto-flip works like this: you long-press the speed/stunt button and then move the right stick left/right or up/down to flip in that direction. The ATV accelerates a little, rolls over and then levels itself off automatically. Headless mode allows the aircraft to automatically adjust its orientation. So if the nose is pointing away from you all the joysticks will respond normally, but if you rotate the quad so the nose is pointing towards you the right aileron will move it left, forward, backward etc. Headless mode, the quad will adjust automatically so that the right pilot is always seated, etc. This is good for beginners, but it's good to learn how to fly without it if you want to improve your skills. Return Home does exactly what it promises. Press the button and the quadcopter will return approximately to where you started. Since it doesn't have GPS, it's not that accurate. Even if you fly indoors, the plane will return in a straight line. It can't fly around walls or obstacles, so this feature isn't very useful unless it's near trees and obstacles. All in all, this is a fun toy. The transmitter requires 2 AAA batteries and a USB charger as only the charging cable is included.
