Bought this to replace one I left in a rental car and it works better than the previous one. The latter was strong, but this one has stronger magnets and is very durable. You can overcome bumps and don't have to worry about your phone falling off. The latter had these rubber pins that you stuck in the vent, and it snuggled up to the inside, which worked pretty well, although I tucked it back in often. Connecting to the vent is a little trickier, but once it's connected it doesn't move and you don't have to worry about fiddling with it.
