ORIGINAL: Excellent lighting. I installed them on my 2015 F150. MUCH better than traditional halogen bulbs. UPDATE: I've been using them for about a year now and am considering removing them. Yes, they look good, plug and play, and a lot better than the stock models, but the fact of the matter is I can hardly tell when they're on. IDK why they decided to smoke them out. Just to interrupt performance? If you're willing to spend more money, there are far better lamps out there. I'm looking at Baja Designs. Their XL Series fits anywhere with custom edging. I will update again if I go this route. UPDATE 02/2018: I grew and sold Morimoto's last summer. I downgraded their rating to three stars because I feel that while it's a decent quality product, it's DEFINITELY NOT $200 better than stock. In fact, I didn't have enough power. The only thing they have is; better processing than series, LEDs instead of halogen and they will certainly keep the OEM look. If you need LIGHT, these are the pits. If you want to keep the original look, I would suggest simply replacing the original bulbs with LEDs. It's cheap and fast. Admittedly I didn't, but I read other articles on f150forum.com. Background: Morimoto Nebula: 1200 lumens per unit; $200 for a pair of Baja Designs Squadron Sport: 2260 lumens per unit; $130 per item. So it's almost double the $60 more. It's not that pretty, but it works. Not sure if Squadron Sport is suitable for surround sound. I'm just throwing out information. Baja Designs Squadron Pro: 4900 Lumens PER ONE; $350 per unit (sorry, you get what you pay for) My setup: I went in a completely different direction. I removed the stock fog lights and trim and installed a Baja Designs XL80 kit. These are NOT nebulae. They are configured (as) high beam headlights. They are MEGA bright. In fact, they are too bright for street use. However, the product meets my needs. Since the power of each Baja unit is 80 watts, I used a separate circuit for them. This leaves my standard fog circuit unused. I'm in the process of buying a set of Baja Designs Squadron Pro lights that I'm going to flush install into the plastic bumper fascia. These will serve as my fog/auxiliary streetlights. XL80 units; 9500 lumens per unit; $400 each
