I am one of those people who decided to switch from Windows to Macos, so my review will be subjective. I. The logic of the system programs in Mac seemed to me at first peculiar, and sometimes wildly incomprehensible. But it turned out that you just need to get used to it. II. I have a case color - "Space Gray", beautiful. For 2 months of use, the laptop managed to scratch a little with chipping off the coating, but this is not noticeable. They say that in white the MacBook is devoid of these shortcomings. III. About the ideal work of MacOs. Yes, the system works stably, although I try not to load open programs too much (I immediately close unused programs, tabs in the browser, etc.), I probably left this from using Windows. IV. Some programs work: Final Cut, sometimes there are brakes when working with heavy files. But in general, everything is fine, it works stably. There is a glitch in the Quicktime stock program. When you run some video files (mov) in full screen - after a while, green stripes appear. VI. For faster work with files, to survive all the power, it is advisable to buy a usb3.0 hard drive, or even better a type-c HDD, but something is not expensive (from 20). But you can get by with a hard drive on Usb2.0, I have just the same speed as on Windows and that's enough for me. V. Appearance. Minimalism. I like it when everything is in moderation, nothing more. In general, I advise you to buy first of all for those who have money and only then, for those who are tired of Windows and want to relax, unwind, find out what system stability with Macos is.
