I'm usually too lazy to write reviews but I was so pleased with this purchase that I decided to pass it on. I compared several different tripods to one that I really wanted (a Peak Design travel tripod) but couldn't afford. I needed something compact and lightweight for hiking and climbing. It's about the same weight as the Peak design and the same length! The width is slightly larger, but is it worth the extra $290 for a PD? This tripod folds by itself to put it together nice and compact and has a really cool leg width adjustment system as shown in some pictures. Use this with my XT3 and enough stability and height. I also compared several other similar Zomei models and this one is way better. I've only had it for a week or so to be honest and can't speak to durability but it seems to be holding up. If I see any durability issues I will post an update here. You can't go wrong with this.
