At around $1.09 each, these bandanas are good. I wanted something more than a handkerchief to wipe up sweat and dirt when working in the garden and something trendy to control sweat at outdoor events - I live in the hot, humid south. They're great for this, with some caveats. It is 100% cotton from India, dyed in bright colors. Scarves are not cut along the grain, so they have to be pulled from corner to corner several times to smooth them out. They should also be hand washed in cold water with a mild detergent and dye and vinegar (at least one cup) and left to stand for at least 30 minutes. This process prevents the scarves from slipping down the entire garment with regular washing. After that, they're fine and fun to use.
