"Soft " as "soft " landing of the plane, NO!
When I hear about silicone I think it's soft, you know, soft implant. It's not like this. You are clear, yes. They are a good size, yes. They are soft and quiet, no. I tested them on new closet doors. The sound when closing reflects the sound when there is nothing at all. The only thought it does is keep the wooden door from hitting the wooden frame, I could do that with tape. If you're looking for "soft," consider felt or gel or real silicone body pads. Quality is good, cost is average, execution is zero. Wouldn't recommend this as a purchase.
