I bought this sorbo to pad my mechanical keyboard and absorb sound to reduce ping. It worked great! This is a large thickness and will likely work with most keyboard case designs. Don't underestimate the quality you can achieve just by filling the empty space on your keyboard. Keyboard without ping is so nice to hear. As a tip, when using Sorbotan, simply place a piece of thick paper between the Sorbotan and your circuit board/case to ensure you never have discoloration.
