Review on Garmin Forerunner Contactless Payments Wrist Based GPS, Finders & Accessories by Aries Gregg

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Solid watch to run. Indeed the perfect watch for runners.

Okay I almost returned this watch but I decided to keep it for a while. Well I'm glad I did. Perfect size clock. The light weight makes them much more comfortable to wear while running. In combination with the running dynamics module, it provides a lot of running data. The music function works well if you have the right Bluetooth headphones. Again, I like the design and size of the watch. I used to have 935, 235, 230, 620, 225. 935 was great but the watch was too bulky to wear every day. By the way, the vibration signal on this watch is very strong. This is a plus as I wake up every day to work reliably with it. Battery life is a little disappointing based on the 935, but that's to be expected. However, I think Garmin could do better. Update: 11/11/2018 I think the FR645 is the BEST GPS running watch Garmin makes today. So far the watch has been top notch in terms of GPS as well as other data accuracy. Optical HR is stable and has never let me down. Last updated on 1/2/19 That's it! Forerunner 645 is the best running GPS watch. Only 1.3 ounces and the watch is very comfortable to wear all day long. Fenix 5 weighs 4 ounces. Imagine. Great watch for runners. This is the winner! LAST UPDATE! 07/01/2020Since the launch of the 645, Garmin has introduced a new GPS sports watch. I've tried them all. All of them are great. BUT! 99% of people will never use all the features of this new watch. If tracking your activity and running stats is your goal, look no further. FR645 is. It's light, measures a lot of actual data, and is now much cheaper. The build quality of the watch is much better than many of its competitors. I will be using mine for many years to come.

Pros
  • Don't waste your time
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
