I have 2 Brute bins that are over 11 years old and have survived the city garbage service and still look good. The old house had steps, so I just carried the cans up and down. When we moved into the county and had a driveway I installed these carts and they breathed new life into the Brutes. Brutes are surprisingly strong, but they can be awkward to carry due to their weight. With this trolley, containers roll more smoothly than trash cans with built-in wheels. And the whole system is much more durable. The precinct paramedics seem to respect this combination as well, I've noticed they leave the whole jar upright and take out the contents instead of trying to turn the jar upside down.
