Workmanship: solid and heavy. I don't know how long the product will last as I only had it one day and had to send it back. Why am I warning? If this is your cat's first collar, she will try to remove it with her teeth. After reading reviews from other owners who had the same problem with a cat's jaw/tooth getting stuck in the collar, I kept a close eye on my cat. After not watching my cat for 15 minutes I went to look for her, the next thing I see are her teeth and jaw stuck to the collar. She was paralyzed and could not move because she was afraid of how her mouth got stuck in the collar. You have been warned about this product, don't put your pet at risk for something stylish. I've learned my lesson
