4.5 stars. This multifunctional cake stand is great. I was hesitant to order it because of the mixed reviews but I'm so glad I ordered and tried it. I have young children, all under 6 years old, and they have no problem opening the lid to take bagels, muffins, etc. The only thing I don't like about it is that its design is multifunctional. when I use it as a cake stand, it tilts to the side when cutting a cake that has already been eaten 1/2 (1/2 stars). I just have to pay attention to the design and keep one side when I press on it while slicing the cake. I had no tears in the laundry. So far I've only used it 2 times as a cake stand and hand washed 3 times.
