I purchased this dress for a photoshoot with my newborn. I ordered it in blush pink and crossed my fingers that it would work since it would arrive the day before our scheduled session. It turned out that it fit beautifully! It did hug my hips a little more than I would probably like, but I got a big booty, so it's only to be expected haha. I ordered a Large and my hip measurement is 45 inches, for reference. The extra large might have been a little more flowy, but I just was worried about it falling off my shoulders. I ended up getting some shapewear to wear underneath for the photos, since it would have shown any panty lines and I just wanted things to look extra nice for the pictures. Probably wouldn't be a problem for a darker color of dress. But the fabric is buttery soft, so comfortable, and the slits on the side added a nice touch too. I love that you can dress it up or down depending on how casual or formal you want to be. I will say, the pockets do kind of show on the lighter colored dresses, so if that bothers you, just something to be aware of. All in all, definitely would recommend buying if you're on the fence.
