Our family has several compact backpacking style camp chairs. This is a sturdy one that is pretty comfortable. My wife claims it feels tight on her shoulders, but the upper poles are above my shoulders, so I didn't notice that. Our kids really liked sitting in it though. I think this is a great budget camp chair that packs down relatively small. It's not small enough or lightweight enough to be a real backpacking chair. But for the price or for a short hike I think it's a pretty solid choice.
