Bought this product 2 years ago for my wife's bike which was prone to punctures. After this purchase there were no more apartments. When she recently got a new bike and had a puncture 2 months later I ordered a pair for the new bike and she has not had a puncture since. So I have to say that these cameras are puncture proof as advertised! The rubber is thicker and heavier than stock tubing, but she's happier to have a bike where flat tires put a little extra weight on the wheels.
