Review on Senville SENAP-W36US Air Purifier with True HEPA Filter, Activated Carbon, and UV LED by Carmen Winters

Does a great job of cleaning the air. Calm.

I have this cleaner because it exists under both the Toshiba and Senville brand names. It's also Eureka InstantClear so there will be multiple options for replacement filters and that helps with the price. The stack contains the activated carbon filter fabric first, and then the thicker accordion filter, which will likely need replacing less often. I've had the Toshiba Smart WiFi version the longest and it's been amazing. This is a little different from the options as they are built into Alexa so you can set a schedule. I use it in the bedroom as I like to put it on a different speed at night when I sleep. The middle one works for me because it's a bit of white noise. The low is really quiet when you need absolute silence. Unfortunately, all of these devices resume power in "off" mode, so there's no way to use a smart plug or timer to control them. You have to press the power button to turn them back on after a power outage. Except for Toshiba as it connects to Alexa and turns on when you schedule it. So far I'm happy with the filter life, but my air quality has been very good. It's not pollen season yet. I measure air quality with a Tusinger air quality monitor and PM2.5 and PM10 levels are significantly reduced with this air purifier, down to 2 and 3 respectively. VOC levels are also significantly reduced. I'm cooking something and you can measure the level quite high. Turn on Senville and they'll disappear and fall in minutes. I can't verify what the UV light is doing there, but it's probably doing something. I don't use it all the time as I think it should have a certain lifespan. At the moment, the cheapest replacement filter from the Eureka is the NEA-F1. Shop around, of course, as there are multi-carbon filter options that cost more but contain more material. I like having a standard filter in the house, so the Senville does its duty in the living room, working all the time while Toshiba takes care of it. Bedroom where we can yell at Alexa to turn her off when it gets cold. Oh yes, they are well breathable, so it can get drafty in winter. I like the extra airflow in the summer, but in the winter I turned the filter outlet to face the wall instead of the bed to reduce drafts.
