Happens, resets the signal and almost does not work at all. When they called Sonos, they explained that the problem was caused by radio interference, but none of the other devices in our house were affected by this phenomenon. Solution? Make sure Sonos isn't in the kitchen (microwave, Google Home), living room (TV, printer), or bedroom (power strip). Also, my husband can't connect his phone to Wi-Fi at the same time, otherwise Sonos will turn off the signal entirely, even when no other devices are on. If we're trying to turn on music for a dinner party where every guest has a phone, the only way to get this to work is to ask everyone to disconnect from our wifi. And we have excellent WiFi (100 Mbit/s). I wouldn't waste your money or time on this impractical thing unless you live alone and only have a cell phone that also uses your wifi.
