End of Sonos lifespan for a 2 year old product - Pity!

Sonos is dropping support for their older products, but it's fine as they offer a generous (NOT) 30% off a new product. I can't believe I recommended this company and their products to my friends and I need to find a new solution instead of replacing them as I can never trust this company again. The flimsy computing power excuses are nothing more than a mere handful of cash, forcing everyone to buy overpriced new hardware that will likely become obsolete in a few years.

just uh - Portable speakers and docking stations

I finally returned it and ordered Play 5 which I am very happy with. In my opinion the difference between 3 and 5 is huge. I realize the 3 is half the price but still I'd say just buy a pair of 1 before I get the 3. It has a "tinny" boombox sound to me. Volume, the bass really kicks in and hits the mids it sounds a little better down to that but still nothing like a 5. I also have games with a soundbar and subwoofer which I like for what they're worth . Much luck :-)

Works and sounds great!

Works great. Not sure if it's any better than the 2 Play Ones I have in another room in a stereo pair, but it's great in a large room. The bass is adjustable with an app which I love because I like heavy bass. I have 1 Play 5 in my living room, Play 3 in my office and 2 Play Ones in my large bathroom. If anyone has trouble with songs falling, then I highly recommend getting Boost. I think Sonos is deliberately exploiting its speakers' weak Wi-Fi capabilities to trick a lot of people into…

Problems with music iPhone

I give 3 stars because the sound of the Sonos speaker is excellent. The problem is functionality related when I play my music on iPhone. I bought my first Sonos speaker 2-3 years ago and initially had no problems. For several months I have been able to listen to a song from the playlists on the iPhone to the end. The Sonos app skips or stops midway through a song. It may take a few minutes for another song to start. That got really annoying. You need to fix iPhone music functionality before I…

Every day I regret this purchase

Happens, resets the signal and almost does not work at all. When they called Sonos, they explained that the problem was caused by radio interference, but none of the other devices in our house were affected by this phenomenon. Solution? Make sure Sonos isn't in the kitchen (microwave, Google Home), living room (TV, printer), or bedroom (power strip). Also, my husband can't connect his phone to Wi-Fi at the same time, otherwise Sonos will turn off the signal entirely, even when no other devices…

Rarely has a product impressed me so much!

Damn, where do I start. Especially . the setup is ridiculously easy. It literally took me 10 minutes to set up Play3 and Play1, download the app to my iPad and start streaming music around my home. And when I later downloaded the app to my iPhone, it found my Sonos system, connected it, and took me straight to the playlist I had paused. Second, the sound is amazing. I have a fairly expensive Bluetooth speaker (I won't say which one), it's good, but this one sucks. My wife, who is not a music…

Sonos is the best! on Portable Audio & Video

Sonos: I love you. I have a Playbar, a 4 One, and now a Play 3. I'm planning on getting a couple more Ones, a subwoofer (too expensive!), and a Play 5 to complete the wireless setup in our 2,600 square foot attic. ft. Despite some issues with the Ones' Alexa integration (it's gotten a lot better with updates) and occasional app crashes, I don't need another system. I attached the Play 3 to the locker across from our pool table. I felt the Play 5 was too big for its intended use and didn't want…
