I've only used it once but have no complaints. I took it out of the box, put the cross inside and it was ready to go. I hung my mountain bike on it and it held it in whatever position I locked it in. I adjusted the bike's derailleurs and brakes. While working, the stand held the bike steady and I never worried about dropping the bike or tipping it over.
