Bought to illuminate a corridor where there are no sockets for night lamps. Use them mainly at night for children. Stay on for a little over 4 hours and turn off about when my kids go to bed. The light can be bright or dim depending on how much light you need for your purpose. I liked them so much I bought a second set in bronze above my little bar I made in my dining room. The bar is also an AMAZON purchase which I highly recommend! Runs on AA batteries and they last at least 2-3 weeks before needing to be replaced! They are lightweight and easy to install and remove to change batteries. Comes with a template so you don't have to guess where to put the screws when hanging. It sticks to the wall just as well!
