There is nothing to complain about with this stand. It's stable, the gooseneck offers enough flexibility for viewing, and the swiveling tablet/phone mount is roomy enough to keep things secure. As some other reviewers have mentioned, when bending the boom back for individual consideration, the user must observe the laws of physics associated with an object's center of gravity: Don't bend it back too far when a heavy object is clamped. My suggestion is (and this is what I do) bend the gooseneck into a big "D" shape. That is, fold the bottom of the gooseneck (attached to a sturdy metal structure that connects to the round base) backwards (away from you) as far as possible, and then fold the top forwards (towards you) as far as possible there). as you can. This compensates for (counters/compensates for) the stand's tendency to fall.
