This black keyboard case works great in low light conditions, is thinner than other screen protectors I've used for other keyboards, and seems to fit just right and well to stay in place. However, immediately after unpacking, a design flaw was noticed. Keys are completely blacked out and characters are tinted white, preventing backlit keys from displaying their characters as originally intended. This is the case if this protection was made for a non-backlit keyboard. The photos in the listing give the false impression that the characters on this cover are translucent on black keys, but that's not the case, and the backlit keyboard becomes useless in a dark environment, like the attached photo on my actual keyboard at night will be shown .
