Very good product but they need to clarify the power requirements

I will be returning it initially as it ultimately failed to power my Dell Latitude 7390 without purchasing an additional USB-C power adapter from your laptop's power supply, are excellent. He is well built and extremely flexible in his excursions. It worked great except it wouldn't turn on my pasta. And it looks great. I like a small area. The problem with this (and other universal docking stations) has to do with charging your laptop. My Dell was listed as compatible so I figured I would have no problem powering it through this dock. I've read reviews and questions that seemed to indicate that if you want to charge your laptop with this dock, all you have to do is use your laptop's power bank. I assumed this means that your laptop's OEM charger plugs into the dock's power supply if your laptop is compatible. However, after receiving it and spending a lot of time researching it, it turns out that you need to use the dock's existing power adapter along with a USB-C laptop power adapter that plugs into one of the USBC-C ports on the back of the Docks is connected. The dock draws additional power from the USB-C power adapter and transmits it to your laptop. If your laptop's power adapter is connected to your laptop via USB-C, you can connect it to the docking station and power your laptop through the docking station. I wish this was clearer as I was tempted to buy a universal USB-C laptop charger and ditch this dock, but almost all of these universal docks also lack the generic OEM docking feature - the ability to charge your device by pressing the power button to supply power to the dock. I believe this and others offer the Wake-on-LAN feature, but I prefer a real power button that you can press to turn everything on.
