There is NOTHING wrong with this product. Extremely affordable. The image is actually inaccurate as it looks like rough, untreated wood. It has a very shiny and smooth surface. It easily fits my full size safety razor and brush. The brush almost doesn't touch the wood, but dries nicely. Note: The brush inserts where the handle meets the bristles, not the top where there is a small insert; It's just for holding. Yes, it fits in my first aid kit as stated by other reviews. And yes, it's a strong feeling, as some reviews dispute. It is neither difficult nor easy. I think it's correct. Don't spend $20 on a razor stand or brush stand individually or a $60-$100 set at the store. Just get this; It's not fancy shiny metal, but it works great.
