This is just a microfiber/foam case for your readers. I have large glasses cases, but sometimes I carry a smaller evening bag or clutch that doesn't fit in my regular case. I just put my glasses in my pocket but the lenses were not protected as they were rubbing against other items in my pocket. These little cases are perfect for protecting my lenses but won't take up space in a small evening bag. Please note these are padded cases so there is no structural protection for your glasses. Assuming they are for elegant occasions there should be less risk of your bag getting damaged or hit hard so they should be fine. Perfect for my needs and this case is much smaller for readers and rimless glasses.
