I wear slippers all the time at home in my small apartment, and I'm very particular about them. I want them to be warm and cozy and not cause me to slip. My feet aren't always easy to fit. I have worn these now for 1 1/2 years (except in warm weather) and have found them wonderful. I'd give them 5 stars except that a few months ago they started to totally fall apart. Both now have big holes in the toe (large enough for me to reach my hand in), and the sole is shedding little pieces that I find all over my living room floor. I have never worn them outside or washed them. It shows how much I like them that I keep wearing them despite the holes and bits all over the place. Maybe that is just the life expectancy for these slippers; I probably was spoiled by having previous slippers that lasted much longer. I can't say don't buy them--I really have loved them--but I'd say don't expect them to last years. They are super-comfy, though, even more than I had hoped, so I'll be sad to stop wearing them. I probably will try something else next time, hoping they last longer--but I don't rule out getting these again.
