The stick slides out easily and is secure. The kit does not include a cable for a mini USB rechargeable remote, but my own cable worked fine with it. A full charge didn't take long (less than 30 minutes I think) - The shutter control is very small and my hands are small. It is firmly attached to the flash drive. I had no trouble connecting to my iPhone 7 via Bluetooth and it works for photos and videos. Stick, I better take the phone out of the case. The phone holder holds my phone together with the case but I don't trust it. It looks like the phone holder will work with Android phones too. This selfie stick also has a PTZ mount that you can attach your camera to. It's nice that this piece isn't a separate part on a flash drive. It is simply hidden without interference. - The clamp screw is great for tightening the phone/camera angle. This is my first selfie stick purchase. I am satisfied with the functions and can recommend it. Update: I used a tripod for a video call with my trainer during a workout. It was delicious. It stayed in the position I wanted and I moved it several times. No questions.
