I bought this for my wife and maybe for myself. She has dementia and seemed to ask "What day is it?" or "What time is it?" every ten or fifteen minutes thought this might be the answer. It came and I set it up and the rest is history. Now she asks other questions, but never by time or day. I thought I had a bad watch when I looked at it the first night after putting it up and the display looked like it wasn't as bright as when I put it up. I looked in the manual and there is nothing about adjusting the brightness. I looked at the back of the watch and there was nothing either. Then I looked at the box. Here it is, the automatic dimming function that works from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Makes sense when used in the bedroom. I'm glad I didn't ruin the box. The manufacturer may wish to list the specs along with the packaging on the installation sheet.**QUESTION/ISSUE**I meant to give this watch no stars but that would be unfair as the watch is a great product and I highly recommend it. My problem is that when I opened the Amazon box, the retail packaging that the watch came in was open. When I opened the product packaging it was also apparent that the watch had been taken out of the box and replaced. I don't know if it was made by Revane or the seller. I've never had this problem in the past. I'm wondering if I received a used or refurbished watch. Or the one that was returned. The watch works as advertised but I will always wonder about this situation as I paid for a new watch.
