Review on Women's Hiitave Minimalist Barefoot Running Trainers Footwear by Mark Glass

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Would be great as a transition to sandals

Loved these shoes, especially for the price! I already have a pair of M*** Vapor Gloves that I'm very much in love with, but I've read that minimalist shoes wear out faster (I can't comment on that yet), so I decided to buy another pair minimalist gloves. Shoes so I can take turns. I am a child therapist and therefore on my feet all day, so shoes are important to me. If you don't know why more minimal shoes are recommended, read some of the work of Cathy Bowman or Fit2Be if you can. - I am able to haggle for my work shoes because body/foot mechanics are important! They also have a very flexible sole. They do have a bit of extra arch support though, which is a neutral point for me, but it keeps them from being the cleanest minimalist shoe out there, so I thought I'd mention it. If you need arch support or are transitioning from high support shoes to lower girth shoes, this is a good option. The only "complaint" I have is that they are slightly raised at the back, so after a full couple of days of wearing they rubbed my ankle but didn't leave a blister. Let's see if I wear slightly higher socks next time. The size is true to size and the color (I have blue and gray) goes well with the photos.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not bad but...
