I have owned a pair of Graysons for over 10 years and have always been very satisfied. I can also attest to how well made they are. One day, when I entered the courthouse for X-rays and baggage inspection, I was arrested and asked several times to come through. In the end, I was allowed to pass after a group of guards examined my shoes and concluded that I posed no threat. They felt compelled to tell me why the extra views were needed. They showed me an x-ray and said they had never seen such a large shank in the sole of a shoe (it seemed to go from the middle of the heel to the ball of the foot). I jumped at the opportunity to brag again; "They are handcrafted in the USA and you get what you pay for."
