I love that: The close-fitting stand-up collar keeps the neck warm. "Warmer" than just a shell, but you can choose how many layers you need depending on the temperature and wind. The black under sleeves will work better over time than the hi-vis colors as they don't show the "road grunge" and the long sleeves with nice cuffs at the ends keep my wrists warm!. Finally, this SUPER BRIGHT HI-VIZ color is VERY visible. Only downside: I'm 5ft 9" and about 150 pounds. I bought and wanted a seat for a layer, I bought a large one. I'd be better off with Med. Not the end of the world as I'll probably fill some of that "extra size" when the weather gets colder! (Was 34f with 15-20mph winds this morning on a 28 mile ride) It was my personal choice, not the fault of the jacket.
