Small and short

I wanted to return it because it is small but our winter is getting dark and cold and I decided to just live with it so I can drive safely! Good? The jacket looks good, is windproof, warm and has practical pockets. Although I'm very tight. I usually wear other clothes in size L. I have broad shoulders and a stomach. It's also very short. So if you raise your arms above your head, expose your midsection, or lean over the handlebars, you may find that your back is exposed. I noticed that my hands

Suitable for me in specific sportswear

I put this cycling jacket on the line because there were no other reviews when I bought it, but overall I'm happy with it. It works well as a windbreaker and breathes pretty well. I especially like the stretchy, breathable material on the back where it's needed. It also allows the jacket to stretch when you reach the bike's handlebars and lean over them without yanking on the jacket like I've felt on others. I like the zip pocket on the front and the 3 pockets on the back. I do sweat a little…

Great cold weather cycling jacket

My very expensive cycling jacket isn't breathable so it's stuffy in all weathers. This very affordable cycling jacket is lined where there is a rain surface, front and front sleeves, shoulders and a small stripe on the back. This part is very visible in yellow. The back and back of the sleeves are made from a thinner, breathable material that is not waterproof. I have worn this jacket several times on my bike in Portland. A ride in stormy rain at 38 degrees. It keeps me warm and dry. Very…

Good winter jacket at the BEST price!

I love that: The close-fitting stand-up collar keeps the neck warm. "Warmer" than just a shell, but you can choose how many layers you need depending on the temperature and wind. The black under sleeves will work better over time than the hi-vis colors as they don't show the "road grunge" and the long sleeves with nice cuffs at the ends keep my wrists warm!. Finally, this SUPER BRIGHT HI-VIZ color is VERY visible. Only downside: I'm 5ft 9" and about 150 pounds. I bought and wanted a seat for a…

Great cycling jacket

Great cycling jacket for cool and cold weather. Stops the wind, repels the rain, breathes a little more. The fleece lining is good, I wear polypropylene as a moisture wicking layer. The fleece lining gets wet during a hard workout, but that's to be expected. Suitable for my little one. It's probably a slim fit. I had to go up a size for comfort. I have 510 200# and needed XXL to fit my torso. Don't worry, Revain's return policy makes the process easy. I love this jacket for off-season travel…

Compared to Pearl Izumi

Just received, will try in the next few days. Immediately I noticed that the end of the jacket was the same length as the front. I don't think anyone who designed this jacket has ever ridden a bike because once you learn how to get around on a road bike your butt is exposed to the elements unlike my old beaded Izumi jacket that I tried have to replace them. The jacket should be at least 3-4 inches longer in the back. How well does it fit. I am 6.1 210 pounds. I'd say 80 percent fit except abs…

Great winter riding jacket

I don't think you can beat it for the price. Fairly water resistant (splashes from puddles and melting snow) but I haven't worn it in a downpour or anything like that. Very warm and cozy, with a nice fleece lining. Breathability is also unquestionable. I wore it on a 50 mile ride when the ambient temperature was above 40C with a long sleeve base layer and I was quite sweaty after the ride but I think I was overdressed from the start. The 3 pockets on the back were great and fit a TON of stuff…

Great warm and light jacket!

I bought this as a protective coat to wear over basecoats when cycling under 50 degrees. It's a lot warmer than I expected! It's very thin but blocks the wind very well (haven't tried it in heavy rain or snow yet, but does a good job of protecting against light precipitation). It's fleece on the inside but not thick so I slipped it underneath on the first try and was very surprised that it was too warm. Over 38 degrees FI only wear a jersey for road cycling or I'm cooking, I've ridden in…
