Compared to Pearl Izumi

Just received, will try in the next few days. Immediately I noticed that the end of the jacket was the same length as the front. I don't think anyone who designed this jacket has ever ridden a bike because once you learn how to get around on a road bike your butt is exposed to the elements unlike my old beaded Izumi jacket that I tried have to replace them. The jacket should be at least 3-4 inches longer in the back. How well does it fit. I am 6.1 210 pounds. I'd say 80 percent fit except abs. I'm an XL, it's not loose but not tight either. I think I can only wear a thermal shirt underneath as the arms are the part that is tight. Especially the forearms. The fit of the upper body is good for a sweater but not for the forearms. I'll come back to check it out further once I've used it. Feb 20, 2020 Okay so I used it in 28 F with a thin shirt and a thin sweater underneath. I manage to stay warm throughout my cycle. I think it's worth it. Didn't feel like the jacket was rolled up in the back as much as I thought, but a few inches longer in the back would have made this jacket excellent.

Cons
  • Unreliable
