Review on Perfect Bicycle Accessories Mountain Trailer by Tim Morrison

Almost as described

I didn't actually buy it as a rear view mirror. I use it as a front camera so my stoker in our recumbent tandem can see anything but the back of my head. Unfortunately, since the camera is facing backwards, your view is a mirror image of what the camera sees. There seems to be a way to change some of the settings (no info in the very basic manual) but I don't think it's something that can be changed. That's very bad, because if you could change the look, you could sell it. for a few other purposes - point it at your baby in the stroller and always look at his face (actually it works the way it is), point it at the hallway so you can see people coming around the corner , give your kids in the back seat see the view out the front window. The screen is also a bit small for our needs and, as mentioned, things look a lot further away than they really are, an artifact of the wide-angle lens on the camera. Still a good deal and can't complain for the money.
