Bought 2 of these kitchen cabinet lighting kits (requires extra length). I modified it a bit to not see any wires and didn't want the electrical connector or wires to be visible anywhere. I drilled a small hole in the cabinet above the microwave and routed the wires across the cabinets (the outlet is in the cabinet above the microwave). The wireless RF adapter is also in the closet and works fine. I used 20 AWG wire and soldered it directly to the terminals that come with the lightstrips (see pictures) so I had enough wire length and used standard 2.1 x 5.5mm connectors to connect everything . I use a 1 to 5 splitter to power each of the 3 separate wires (see parts list below). A 12 volt adapter from one of the kits will easily power the entire 12 foot string of lights. This kit includes custom 3.5 x 1.35mm connectors. You will need an adapter for this to work with the standard 2.1 x 5.5mm jacks which are readily available. See my parts list below and photos/videos.
