A good alternative to the normal code reader. Although not as convenient as a code reader due to the size of the computer (laptop) required, this software does much more than a code reader and can monitor sensors in real time. It seems to be compatible with almost every software. including Palmer Performance software. Searching for codes is also not necessary - the program will interpret the numerical code and immediately give an error in English.

Shaft and switch. Software and key code are not provided. You can only guess why it doesn't have a key code and their website won't help you at all. As a guess, I contacted support for the code. It's also pretty clear that they'll lure you in with a low price to sell you add-ons to do something other than read the code. Bad decision by this company to go this route! Before I spend more time with this product I will just come back and carry on calmly. Would I recommend this to others. No!

I have an old 1999 Chevy Suburban that I've decided to get more performance out of than replace. In order for your OBDlink SX to work properly you must first download the FTDI drivers but there will be a link on the support page. Download the file and unzip it wherever you want. Plug in the scanner and go to Device Manager. An error will be displayed so it is easy to spot. Right click and update drivers, point to where you unzipped the drivers, you do this 2 times for 2 drivers. Reboot and everything will be fine.
