In order for your OBDlink SX to work properly you must first download the FTDI drivers but there will be a link on the support page. Download the file and unzip it wherever you want. Plug in the scanner and go to Device Manager. An error will be displayed so it is easy to spot. Right click and update drivers, point to where you unzipped the drivers, you do this 2 times for 2 drivers. Reboot and everything will be fine. Install the obdwiz software and you need to connect the tool to a computer with internet access. If you try to read the codes, it will tell you to register and get a code for your new device. If it's too complicated, read the manual or go to the experts and find out what you don't understand. If you can't do basic research, then you really have nothing to do with this type of tool because you're messing things up. Remember there are a few things to puzzle out, there is firmware for the scanner, there are drivers that allow the computer to communicate with the scanner and there is software that allows the scanner to communicate with the vehicle to communicate. Firmware keeps your scanner up to date. So there are 3 different installation processes you need to go through. If you haven't, you probably don't know what you're doing without trying to be mean, but it's really not that hard. Read and ask questions to other people on the community forum, not the people selling it. Users are likely to be much better placed to answer your questions. The Chinese are from a different culture and much more respectful, they don't go crazy when something goes wrong. I'm not surprised they don't reply, I see reviews from these people, Google is your best friend for information and searches
