Not working for me due to limitations on my business laptop

The alternator died on the road a week before my MOT, killing the battery. The alternator was exchanged for me, but the problem was and remains that the car is not ready for testing due to the loss of operational readiness. I've traveled a lot to prepare but I want to make sure the car is ready before I go. After reading some positive reviews I bought this product and it arrived today. I downloaded the software to my computer and connected the tools to the machine. The connection was successful, but I received a message about the lack of firmware. So I followed the link the wizard presented and the download failed. Skip this download next time and go ahead and click Monitor. I just got "monitor status unavailable". Tried several times with the same result. I quit. I can't even contact the supplier as there is no "contact us" on the website. They have a forum and I opened an account but it's a dead forum. I don't know what to do with it. This may be operator error, but in the 21st century it shouldn't be that difficult to use. I don't have a Windows PC (I have a MAC) so I used my Windows 10 work PC provided by my employer. He can do something / disturb something. I'm usually good at picking great products, but this one was a big disappointment. It goes to eBayUpdated: To be honest with the manufacturer, I'm updating my rating. I found out through talking to our IT guy that the business computer is preventing certain programs/firmware from loading for security reasons and that is the reason why I was never able to download the framework and use the device. I'm changing the beginning from one to three as I can't test his work and want my review to stand out from the crowd so it can be read by people who may have the same limitations.
